Qualifications

Individualized programs teach:

  • Clear and precise articulation
  • Blending articulated sounds together naturally
  • Smooth, natural flow of speech
  • Intonational and stress patterns
  • Functional vocabulary and useful phrases
  • Nonverbal communication
  • Basic grammatical skills
  • Conversational speech
  • Carryover of new skills

Assessment:

Allow 90 minutes for a complete audio and video-taped analysis, discussion of findings and development of individual goals.

Individual and small group courses:

  • Beginning Level (10-15 hours)
  • Intermediate Level (8-10 hours)
  • Advanced Level (varies)

All Programs include:

Audio and video taping, written handouts, individualized self-practice programs, and computerized feedback using the VISI-PITCH II.
